Architecture and design practices, urban planning and regeneration institutions, companies and research centres, cultural heritage committees and other concerned organisations are involved by the reCity Liaison Secretariat, both in Europe then in Third Countries. A list of professional organisations have been identified and contacted to provide internship placements for students. The above structures were identified in four Continents: Europe, Asia, America and Africa with the involvement of 23 Countries.
In this way, students can choose the professional structure more suitable for them, under the geographic or field of activity criteria. Students come into direct contact with the world of work with a practical experience that will help them to organise the skills acquired.
Furthermore, mobility during the studies and internship, increases the possibilities to get a job in a foreign country and an early entry in the Labour Market, too. The internship is intended not only in traditional organisations, but also in international agencies, non-government organisations (NGOs) and all other jobs involved in City regeneration.
The Master Course work-placement arrangements, the website, the Career (Employment) day, the end of year exhibition showcases, and other activities promote the bridging between the Society, the potential employers and students before the end of the course, increasing employment perspectives and interaction with professional fields. Finally, the FisD promotes monitoring about work-placement students data within six to twelve months after the end of the Master course, to trace statistics and fellow on alumni.
